Folks I am so in awe. Last night a friend of mine put me on to a Bobby Mcferrin video that brought tears to my eyes. It was his rendition of Ave Maria and he sang the Back music note for note. It was absolutely beautiful. A lovely choir accompanied him and it was oh so heavenly. Whats crazy is this video came out like 4 years ago. Where was I? He is amazing. Talented and light hearted what a beautiful performance. Feel free to check it out.

Today is one of those days where I definately want to say thank you! thank you to all those who supported me along my journey!
To life, to chance, to opportunity. Thanks to all of my choices for landing me here, where I am today. I am so grateful.

 Here i am in a pic from when I had first arrived in NYC about 5 years ago and I was working with Soundbar Recordings to get my music out there. We recorded two songs When I think of U and ME ME ME (if you see me). These songs were featured on their Fly Rap Money compilation.  Both are up on itunes. At the time I was going by TK Rose and just putting myself out there. Really trying to survive in NYC.  What a journey. Still the music pumps through my veins. Still I right songs and enjoy their melody. But lately all I can say is thank you! Thank you thank you. I can’t believe I have had the chance to live and travel and do so much! To sing and work and love and live to love again.

Just looking at that pictures brings back so many memories as if it were yesterday that we were all packed into that small car racing to Manhattan Bridge and over to Dumbo, then up to the Bronx to do our photo shoot.

We were having so much fun and were so full of faith and so supportive of each others art.  I was singing all around the city for upcoming artists and really trying my best to live this thing.

Soon I felt the pressure to get a job and work to make money so that I could have a stable place to live. At the time I was not so confident in making my own way or living solely by faith and declaring my destiny. I wanted a weekly check. That slowed things down for me and opened up other doors. I continued to work and write and sing and the doors kept opening ever slightly based on my faith and determination.

Wow what a trip. Here I am today. Working and singing and living in a beautiful apartment in Harlem and the doors are still opening and God still has patience and grace as I continue to walk behind my passion.
